Who can view comments on Air?โ€‹

โ€‹Collaboration is an important part of the creative process. With comments, collaborating on visual assets is a breeze.

Comments enable you to leave feedback on assets, tag team members, and share that feedback instantly. You can also keep track of comments on multiple versions of your content all in one place. On Air you can also edit, delete, or mark comments as resolved once the feedback included has been addressed.

Types

  • Comments - Written feedback applied to any asset or file on Air

  • Discussions - A collection of written feedback and corresponding replies to that feedback applied to any asset or file on Air

  • Timestamps - Video specific comments that are labeled with marker to show feedback associated with a time within video playback

  • Annotations - Comments that point or draw to illustrate a comment

Status

  • Open - Feedback that has not been addressed or resolved

  • Resolved - Feedback that has been addressed and resolved

From views

Thumbnail

Look for the speech bubble icon attached to asset/file thumbnails to let you know if there are open comments within. Selecting the speech bubble in gallery + kanban view, will take you to your asset preview and your open comments right away.

Filter

Using โž•More filters, you can toggle to only show content that 'Has open comments'. Save this filter on your workspace view to have a spot to easily return to and see all your content with open comments with one click.

From asset preview

Header

Look for the double speech bubble icon in the asset preview header to show a count of all open comments across the workspace for the asset in view. The resulting list will include all locations where the asset or file appears and the associated count of open comments within that location. The list is fully navigable allowing to pop in to all the boards that your asset might be with ease.

Comment tab

The speech bubble icon on the right of your asset preview collapses and opens to show comments. By default the view of comments includes open comments across all versions stacked. Adjust these filters to your liking to get to the exact feedback you need.

Comments

Comments in view will show:

  • Account icon for the user that left the feedback

  • Account name for user that left the feedback

  • Version feedback was left on

  • Time feedback was left (e.g. 8d)

  • The feedback text

  • An option to reply / start a discussion

  • Resolve button (on hover)

  • Edit menu (three dots; on hover)

Comment field

Use the field write feedback about the specific version of the asset in view. Within the field you've also got shortcuts to:

  • โ˜๐Ÿผ Activate annotations / contextual comments

  • ๐Ÿ•‘ Activate timestamps (video assets)

  • ๐Ÿ˜„ Access your emoji keyboard

  • ๏ผ  Access a list of taggable teammates

  • โœˆ๏ธ Option to submit the feedback
