Air's facial recognition technology uses confirmed key images and detected faces to suggest matches. Face detection and matching depend on the available images and whether Air can detect a face in a supported image context, so results can be imperfect. A person search or filter can include broad or incorrect matches when Air finds similar faces or when a person has incorrect key images or associations. The People panel appears when a face is detected, so some images with people may not show a detectable face for tagging. You can always associate a detected face with a person.
If you expected face detection on an image and it is not appearing, or if a person search or filter returns systematically incorrect or overly broad results after key images and associations have been reviewed, contact Air support using the messenger chat on this article page or email help@air.inc so we can check for a known Facial Recognition issue, missing enrichment, matching-quality issue, or plan availability.
