Precision is everything. While Air optimizes your files for lightning-fast browsing, sometimes you need to see every vector line and gradient exactly as it was created. If a PDF preview looks blurry or colors seem off, you can switch to the original render instantly.

Air automatically creates optimized previews to ensure your content loads quickly, even on slower connections. However, complex PDFs might display rendering artifacts in this mode. Use the Show Original PDF toggle if you notice:

  • Blurry text or pixelation

  • Missing vector lines or architectural details

  • Color shifts or gradient banding

Toggle original PDF view with the following steps:

  1. Open the PDF in the asset viewer on Air

  2. Click the Settings (gear icon) in the viewer toolbar

  3. Toggle on Show Original PDF

Note: Rendering the original PDF requires downloading the full file data to your browser, so it may load slower than the optimized preview.

Now that you're viewing your assets with full fidelity, learn more about navigating the asset detail screen or leaving precise feedback on your creative work.
