Who can edit an asset transcript?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on any Air plan

✏️ Anyone who has edit access to the workspace, library, or board

Air automatically generates transcripts for your video assets to help you search, navigate, and review your video content. When automated transcription or speaker detection contains discrepancies, you can correct specific words or phrases directly in the transcript panel to ensure complete accuracy.

Editing a transcript

  1. Open the video asset you want to view by clicking on its title from your board or search results. This launches the asset detail viewer.

  2. In the asset detail viewer, click the Transcript tab in the left panel.

  4. Double-click the word or phrase you want to correct, then edit the text inline.

  5. When your corrections are complete, click the blue Save button at the bottom of the panel. Saved corrections immediately update the transcript and the video's closed captions, and they appear in transcript files you download afterward.
