Who can use text extraction for images?

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Supported on any Air plan

✏️ Anyone with view access to a workspace, library, or board

Unlock the text hidden within your images. Air's Text Extraction feature automatically captures text from any static image in your workspace, turning visual content into usable data. This saves you from manual transcription and makes important information instantly searchable and ready to copy.

From asset details view

Navigate to any static image in your workspace and open asset details and click the Search icon in the asset details view to activate text extraction.

Air's text extraction feature will display a list of all detected text. Each line of text is captured as a separate item. You can scroll through the list to review everything that was found. For a closer look, zoom in on the image to see exactly where the text was detected.

For each detected line of text, you have several powerful options to manage the content:

  • Copy: Instantly copy the extracted text with a single click.

  • Edit text: If the extraction wasn't perfectly accurate, you can modify the text directly in the panel.

  • Delete captured text: Remove the association between the text and your image so that it is not part of search results

  • Edit bounding box: Refine the detection area by expanding or reducing the bounding box around a line of text to capture more or less content.

Now that you can extract text from your images, learn more about how Air's powerful search capabilities can help you find exactly what you need.
