Who can generate an Air API key?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on any Enterprise Air plan

✏️ Anyone with admin access to the workspace

Account Settings > API Access

Air provides access to a public version of our API to enable developers on your team to integrate Air directly with the rest of your tech stack and improve the speed and efficiency of your creative workflows.

API Keys

API keys are created and managed inside your Account Settings, which can be found by clicking on your avatar in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. Navigate to the API Access tab to create and manage API keys and find your Workspace ID.

An API key is like a password and should be treated the same way. We recommend saving it in a password manager or other secure environment if you have to share it. Additionally, we advise against committing this key to source control. You may delete an API key at any time, but be aware that this may potentially break any existing workflows that developers have set up using this key.

Workspace IDs

When you generate an API key, it will allow API requests to be fetched from any workspace in which you are an Admin. Developers will need to specify the workspace ID of the workspace they’d like to make requests against, so a list of available Workspace IDs is also provided to you on this page. Only workspaces with the proper settings for the signed in user will show.

Other Resources

Once you’ve generated a key and are ready to start development, please refer to our API Developer documentation for details on the available endpoints.

Feedback about the API is especially welcome as we work to improve it and enable it more widely! Submit feedback to hello@air.inc or send us an in-app message from the chat bubble icon below.
