Account Settings > API Access
Air provides access to a public version of our API so developers on your team can integrate Air with the rest of your tech stack and streamline creative workflows. Workspace admins in Business and Enterprise workspaces can create and manage public API keys in Workspace settings > API Access.
API Access can be used to connect automation tools such as Zapier and n8n. These integrations are available on eligible Business and Enterprise workspaces.
API Keys
Public API keys are created and managed in Workspace settings. Navigate to the API Access area to create and manage keys and find your Workspace ID. Workspace admins in Business and Enterprise workspaces can access this page.
An API key is like a password and should be treated the same way. We recommend saving it in a password manager or other secure environment if you have to share it. Additionally, we advise against committing this key to source control. You may delete an API key at any time, but be aware that this may potentially break any existing workflows that developers have set up using this key.
Workspace IDs
When you generate an API key, it can be used to make API requests for any workspace where you have admin access. Developers need to specify the workspace ID of the workspace theyโd like to make requests against, so this page also includes a list of available Workspace IDs for the signed-in user.
Other Resources
Once youโve generated a key and are ready to start development, please refer to our API Developer documentation for details on the available endpoints.
For Zapier workflow guidance, see Explore Air for Zapier. For n8n configuration steps, see Setting up an Air node for n8n.
Feedback about the API is welcome. Submit feedback to hello@air.inc or send us an in-app message from the chat bubble icon below.
