Who can set up Air for Zapier?

Air’s Zapier integration is a huge time saver that allows you to automate your workflows between Air and other tools that you use. Workspace owners and admins on eligible Business and Enterprise workspaces can connect Zapier using API Access in Workspace settings. In this article, we'll show you what information you need, how to create your first zap, and provide some examples to inspire you.
Before you start: Workspace owners and admins on Business and Enterprise workspaces can find the API key and Workspace ID in Workspace settings > API Access.
Each automation you create is called a "Zap", and consists of a Trigger ("if x happens, then...") and an Action ("...do y"). Zaps are workflows that connect your apps to automate repetitive tasks. A trigger is an event that starts a Zap, and an action is an event a Zap performs.
Zapier Apps
Air Integrations can be connected to your Zapier account. It allows you to automate your work across thousands of apps in Zapier that connect to your tech stack.

Triggers
Air Integrations has five triggers.
Trigger | Description |
New Asset | Triggers when a new asset is created in your workspace. Can be limited to a specific board and, optionally, its nested boards. |
New Board | Triggers when a new board is created in your workspace. Can be limited to boards created inside a specific parent board. |
Tag Added to Asset | Triggers when a specific tag is added to an asset. |
Board Custom Field Updated | Triggers when a custom field on a board is updated to a given value. |
Asset Custom Field Updated | Triggers when a custom field on an asset is updated to a given value. Can be limited to a specific board and, optionally, its nested boards. |
Air’s Zapier triggers are polling triggers, not instant triggers. Zapier checks for new data on a schedule determined by your Zapier plan, including every 15 minutes on the Free plan, so there may be a short delay before a Zap runs.

Air Integrations has several actions.

Create a board | Create a board at the top-level of your workspace or as a child of another board |
Create a custom field | Create a custom field in your workspace |
Generate an upload URL | Generate a secure URL for uploading files to your workspace. Best for use with upload a file action. |
Import a file from a URL | Imports a file from a public URL |
Status of an import | Retrieve the status of a specific import by providing the import ID in the URL |
Remove an asset from a board | Remove an asset/file from a board in your workspace |
Remove guest | Remove guest from a board in your workspace |
Update a board | Update a board’s title, description, or location |
Update an asset version | Update an asset/file version title or description |
Upload a file | Upload a file to your workspace as a new asset or version |
Find assets
| Search for assets/files in your workspace |
Find boards | Search for boards in your workspace |
Find custom fields | Search for custom fields in your workspace |
Find guests of a board | Search for users in a board in your workspace |
Get asset parent boards | Get the list of boards an asset belongs to, sorted with the most recently created board first. |
Get asset by ID | Get all info about an asset/file |

Get board by ID | Get all info about a board |
Get custom field by ID | Get all info about a custom field |
Find or create a board | Search for a board in your workspace, or create it if it doesn't exist. |
Find or create a custom field | Search for a custom field in your workspace, or create it if it doesn't exist. |
Get or create tags | Pass in a list of tags (e.g. "dog, cat") and receive back a list of tagIds regardless of whether the tags already exist in the workspace |
Adds tags to an asset version | Apply tags to an asset version |
Update role of guest | Update a board user's role on a board in your workspace. |
