Who can use Air's Figma plugin?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on any Air plan

✏️ Anyone who has download access to the workspace, library, or board

Air's Figma plugin allows quick, seamless transfer of files between your Air workspace and the Figma file you are working in. You’re able to browse your boards and libraries to find an asset to drop into your design. Once you’re done creating, export your work right back to Air to keep it organized.

Workspace

If you have multiple workspaces that you are a member of, you can click into the name of your workspace to view and access your content.

Boards

View a list of all the boards available in your selected workspace as well as key filters for easy access to your organized content. Use the carat toggles to expand and collapse parent boards and access sub-boards.

Locate content by board name or the following filters:

  • My favorites - all of your favorited/starred items in your workspace

  • Recently added - items added to your workspace in the last 30 days

  • My uploads - all of your uploads to your workspace

All assets & files

Take a bird's eye view of all of the content in your workspace. Find your content by keyword or search term instead of getting lost in a sea of board and sub-board selection. Get what you need to start exercising your creative muscles right in Figma.

Upload to Air

Upload from Figma to any board in your Air workspace. No downloading and then uploading necessary!

Air for Figma app navigation

  • ⬅️ Back - return to a previous location on the app

  • ➡️ Forward - head to your most recent visited location on the app

  • 💬 Board breadcrumbs - jump to a board or sub-board

Board view

Large thumbnail previews show in a two column gallery for a dynamic look at your content organized on the board level. Hover over any item for a glimpse into basic details:

  • Title

  • Extension

  • Size

  • Resolution

Just like on Air's web app, you'll see any sub-boards above any assets. Files (items without a visual) that are stored won't have a preview or any function on Figma but you can still see that they are part of the board when applicable.

Asset view

Assets are a larger preview of the item. You'll also see the name and resolution in editable fields. After making any modifications needed, insert the selected asset to add it to your open Figma project.
