Who can edit images on Air?

βοΈ Anyone with edit access to the workspace can use crop, flip + rotate functions on Air
Edit Mode lets you make quick, high-quality edits to images directly inside Air. You can now crop, flip, and rotate assets right where they live, helping your team move from raw file to campaign-ready faster than ever.
To begin making changes to an image:
Open the image in your Air workspace (asset details view)
Select the Edit icon in the bottom toolbar
Cropping an image
The crop tool allows you to trim or resize an image using presets or custom dimensions, perfect for reframing a photo for social media or your website.
Select the Crop tool in the Edit Mode menu to expand the options
Set your image crop dimensions
Select from a list of size presets for common platforms like Instagram and YouTube
Input custom dimensions
Select from standard aspect ratio options (1:1, 4:3, 16:9)
Manually adjust the crop area by dragging the corners and edges of the selection on the image itself
Once you have finalized your selection, select Apply crop to see the result.
Flipping and rotating an image
The flip and rotate tool helps you adjust an image's orientation for layout consistency.
Select Flip and rotate in the right-hand menu to see the available transformations.
Rotate the image left in 90-degree increments
Rotate the image right in 90-degree increments
Flip horizontally
Flip vertically
Select Apply transform to update the image preview with your changes.
Saving or discarding your edits
After applying your edits, you can choose to save them as a new version or a new asset, or you can discard them entirely.
To save your work:
Select the Save edits button in the top-right corner
Choose to either Create new asset or Save as new version. Saving as a new version will stack the edited image on top of the original.
To discard your changes:
Select the Cancel button. A confirmation window will appear to ensure you don't lose your work accidentally.
Select Discard change to revert the image to its original state and exit Edit Mode.
