βοΈ Anyone with edit access to the workspace can use AI editing tools.
Make quick, high-quality edits to your images directly inside Air. With the new AI-powered tools in Edit Mode, you can clean up and enhance assets right where they live, helping your team move from raw file to campaign-ready faster than everβno need to download, edit externally, and re-upload.
This guide will walk you through two powerful AI features: Erase Elements and Remove Background.
Erase Elements
The 'Erase Elements' function uses AI to intelligently remove any unwanted object or area from your image. Simply draw a rectangle around the area in your image you want to erase and AI will process and remove the object instantly.
From edit mode, select Erase elements
Click, hold, and drag to draw a rectangle within the image surrounding the element you want to remove
Select erase selection
Remove Background
The 'Remove Background' feature allows you to isolate the subject of an image by making its background transparent or replacing it with a solid color. Choose your desired background settings (hello, transparent images on Air!), add a color, or add in a drop shadow with ease.
From edit mode, select Remove Background
Use the default transparent settings or toggle to replace with a color background

Saving or discarding your edits
After applying your edits, you can choose to save them as a new version or a new asset, or you can discard them entirely.
To save your work:
Select the Save edits button in the top-right corner
Choose to either Create new asset or Save as new version. Saving as a new version will stack the edited image on top of the original.
To discard your changes:
Select the Cancel button. A confirmation window will appear to ensure you don't lose your work accidentally.
Select Discard change to revert the image to its original state and exit Edit Mode.
