When I import what happens to my source content?

Learn how Air handles source content during imports and what to expect for source-specific metadata in Enterprise migrations

Written by Lauren Ford

Nothing! Air's import process is always read-only. Air copies supported source content and metadata from the original file or folder being imported.

Metadata and naming behavior can vary by source and import type. For Enterprise custom migrations from DAM or storage systems, Air works with you on supported source-specific naming and metadata preservation, including metadata-heavy sources with many custom fields.

Air will not alter or delete the content from the source.

Import your content from Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, or Sharepoint with ease. You can also import assets from Meta Ads with Air's Enterprise plan. Follow Air's easy step-by-step.
