Who can change a login password on Air?

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦ Supported on any Air plan

✏️ Anyone that logs in to Air with a verified username and password

πŸ₯Έ Strong passwords are a must!

Your new password must have 8+ characters, one number, and one capital letter

From any workspace

When you're logged in to Air, changing your password is quick and easy.

  1. Select your avatar in the bottom left corner of your browser

  2. In the pop-up menu, select 'Account Settings'

  3. Navigate to the 'Change Password' tab

  4. In the 'Old password' field, input your current password

  5. In the 'New password' field, input your new preferred password

  6. Select 'Save changes'

From login

Users that do not have a workspace or are wanting to change their password without logging in to Air can use the Forgot password workflow to achieve exactly this!

  1. Select 'Forgot password?' link

  2. Input your email address on the Forgot password page

  3. Select 'Submit'

  4. In a separate tab or window or via your preferred email client, check your email for a verification code from Air (no-reply@mail.air.inc). If you don't see it, check your spam or junk folder.

  5. Return to the forgot password browser window

  6. In the Code field, input received code to verify your user

  7. In the Password field, put your new preferred password

  8. Select 'Submit'

Note: The forgot-password flow only works for accounts that sign in with an email address and password. It does not reset access for accounts that sign in with Google, Apple, or SAML.

For Google, Apple, and SAML

If you sign in to Air with Google, Apple, or SAML, manage your password through that identity provider or through your employer's account settings. Google sign-in and SAML SSO are separate sign-in methods, so you’ll need to continue with the same provider connected to your Air account.

If you see a message that the user does not exist, confirm that you're using the same email address and the same sign-in method you used when you first set up access to Air.
