Timestamp and time-range commenting help teams focus in on specific moments or entire sections of a video. Videographers can call out specific shots. Editors can request changes to sound, lighting, and more for a particular frame or highlight a continuous sequence.

Air's comment field includes an additional toggle for timestamps. Manually activate the timestamp to pause video playback and share your feedback on a single frame. Alternatively, you can use time-range comments to attach feedback to a specific section of the video, rather than just a single timestamp—no more writing out “0:40-1:02” in your notes. Both options are available alongside standard comments and annotations.

Timestamped and time-range comments use the same comment field, so you can include named links by using the link button or by pasting a URL over selected text. Use sort options within the comment tab settings to order comments by timestamp.

Open timestamp and time-range comments can also be visualized via a marker or highlighted duration that sits on the player bar at the associated timecode. The avatar on the marker helps you see who posted the comment. Clicking on the marker allows you to navigate to that specific timecode or time range in the video and highlights the associated comment thread.
