Who can search and apply filters on Air?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on any Air plan

✏️ Anyone who has view access to a workspace, library, or board

🗺️ Anyone that visits a share link

Searching and using filters is a key part of how teams navigate and discover content in Air. Whether you’re digging through thousands of assets or narrowing down a focused set for a project, Air's powerful search tools help you quickly find what you need—no matter how your workspace is organized.

You don’t need to use a search term to benefit from filters. They’re great for exploration, discovery, and content curation—especially when paired together. Explore the feature on Air and find the exact content you need quick, fast, and in a hurry.

🔎 Search bar

On Air's search bar you're able to input any text and kick off a basic search of your workspace.

At the top of every Air view, you’ll find the search bar—your go-to tool for quick content discovery.

  • Search by keyword
Just start typing—Air will suggest filenames, tags, and relevant assets as you go.

  • Search across your workspace
Use the “Search all files” view to search across everything, or stay within a specific board or library to focus your results.

🎛️ Filters

Air’s filtering system is designed to be intuitive and flexible so you can slice through your visual library with precision. Filters are available in all plans and show up whenever you're searching or browsing content.

Key features include:

  • Organized filter categories
Filters are grouped into logical sections—like Type, Smart Tags, and Locations—to help you quickly zero in on the most useful options.

  • Smart Tag filtering
Use AI-generated keywords to find assets based on what’s actually in the image or video. No manual tagging required.

  • Location-based filtering
Refine your search to specific boards or libraries using the Locations filter, so you’re only seeing content that’s relevant to your current context.

  • Clear selection indicators
Active filters are visually highlighted, making it easy to keep track of what’s applied and remove filters as needed.

  • Descriptive, user-friendly naming
Filter labels (like “Uploaded by”) are written in plain language so you know exactly what you're filtering by.
