My Microsoft login account is not admin role and needs admin approval

The SharePoint importer needs permission to read content that the connected Microsoft account can access and to maintain the authorized connection. Importing creates copies in Air and does not modify the source content in SharePoint.

Contact your Microsoft admin to grant Air permission in the following steps:

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft Entra admin center as a Privileged Role Administrator.
    ​

  2. Browse to Identity > Applications > Enterprise applications > Consent and permissions > User consent settings
    ​

  3. Under User consent for applications, select Allow user consent for apps from verified publishers, for selected permissions (Recommended)

  4. Add in reviewer in Admin consent settings session
    ​

  5. Add Sites.Read.All and offline_access under Permission classifications

    • Sites.Read.All allows the importer to read items in site collections

    • offline_access maintains the authorized connection.
      ​

Note: This approval workflow and any subsequent sign-in or account-switching troubleshooting are the same whether you open SharePoint from its Integrations card or from the Add/Upload import flow.

Return to Air's importer and sign in to request approval

Contact your Microsoft admin to review and approve access
