Is there a limit to how much I can add to Context?

If you have detailed brand rules like multiple color palettes, strict pairing guidelines, and tone variations, here's how to think about adding them to Context

There is no hard limit on how much information you can add to Canvas Context. More detail generally leads to better, more accurate AI outputs.

The main thing to watch out for is conflicting information within the same context source. If a context source contains contradictory rules (e.g., two different primary colors defined), the AI may produce inconsistent results. When brands, campaigns, channels, or audiences require conflicting guidance, keep them in separate context sources rather than combining them in one source.

A workspace can contain multiple context sources. Use separate context sources for distinct brands, campaigns, channels, or audiences so each source stays focused and consistent.

Quick tip!

When adding complex rules — like color pairing restrictions — be explicit. Instead of listing colors alone, describe the relationships: 'Navy blue (#0F3460) should only be paired with white or light grey, never with black.'
