What is the difference between an account and a workspace?

Learn how your Air account differs from a workspace and how each one supports your team’s creative operations

Account

An account on Air is a personal identifier that is attached to your email address. Air accounts can both join and create workspaces.

You can only have one email address per account. You can create and join as many workspaces as you need with that account. If you’re meant to join an existing workspace, accept the email invite or open the workspace invite link before creating your account. Signing up without an invite or invite link may prompt you to create a separate workspace.

Workspace

A workspace is a place on Air for all of your creative assets and workflows. It serves as a centralized hub where you can invite collaborators, organize assets with boards, share content, collaborate on projects, and manage your creative processes efficiently. One workspace can have many accounts associated with it.

To view or manage workspaces, select your workspace name at the top of the sidebar to open the sub-menu, where you can switch, join, or create workspaces. If you have access to multiple workspaces, switch to the intended workspace before inviting others or managing workspace settings.
