Who can manage custom fields?​

✏️ Anyone who has admin access to the workspace

Create

From workspace settings > fields

To start creating custom fields, head to the FIELDS tab in the Settings and Members page. You'll notice that we've added in some default custom fields to get you started!

  1. Click on the Add a custom field button on the Fields tab

  2. Add a title and description so your team knows how to use the custom field

  3. Add your values, editing their order and color as you see fit
    ​After each edit make sure to hit that check mark!

  4. Click the save button to save your newly created custom field

From asset preview > custom field tab

To create a new custom field from an asset preview click the custom field icon (two horizontally stacked rectangles) to open.

  1. Click on the βž• Add custom field button on the bottom right of the screen

  2. Add a title and description so your team knows how to use the custom field

  3. Add your values, editing their order and color as you see fit
    ​After each edit make sure to hit that check mark!

  4. Click the save button to save your newly created custom field

Edit / Delete

From workspace settings > fields

  1. Head to the FIELDS tab in the Settings and Members page

  2. Select the title of the field you wish to edit or delete

  3. Make the desired changes and click 'Save' button to save your newly updated custom field
    ​

  4. Select 'Delete' and confirm on the following screen

From asset preview > custom field tab

  1. Click the custom field icon (two horizontally stacked rectangles) to open.

  2. Hover over the title of the custom field you wish to edit or delete

  3. Select the ✏️ icon to open the edit custom field modal

    1. Make the desired changes and click 'Save' button to save your newly updated custom field

    2. Select 'Delete' and confirm on the following screen
