How is my workspace credit usage calculated?

Learn how monthly workspace credits are used for stored assets, AI enrichment, and AI generation in Air

Current Air plans do not use a separate, fixed TB storage allowance. Instead, your workspace uses a single monthly credit balance that dynamically covers three core areas:

  • Storage (Non-Visual Files)

  • AI Enrichment (Visual Assets)

  • AI Generation (Air Canvas Actions)


🔄 Continuous Recalculation & Monthly Resets

  • Deleting Assets Saves Credits: Because storage and enrichment are calculated continuously, deleting assets mid-cycle instantly returns those credits to your balance for the remainder of the current cycle.

  • Canvas Storage Charges: Canvas-generated assets only start costing storage and enrichment credits after they are explicitly saved to your workspace (not when they are initially generated).

  • The Monthly Refresh: Your monthly credit refresh restores your workspace's available plan credit balance. Any assets that stay stored or enriched will immediately begin drawing from this new balance.


🎁 One-Time Gift Credits

If your workspace has been granted One-time gift credits, they behave with specific rules:

  • AI Generation Only: Gift credits apply strictly to AI generation actions.

  • Used First: Eligible AI actions will automatically draw from this gift balance before touching your monthly plan credits or Credit Packs.

  • No Expiration: Gift credits are non-resetting and remain completely separate from your recurring monthly refresh.

  • Note: Standard storage and AI enrichment will continue to draw from your regular monthly plan credits even if you have gift credits available.


🛠️ Monitoring Your Workspace

  • Live Tracking: You can review your credit usage at any time using the credit meter located in your navigation bar.

  • Plan Details: Head to Workspace Settings > Current Plan to see your selected workspace's exact terms, live usage, limits, and refresh timing.

  • Comparing Plans: Visit Air's pricing page or check your Current Plan settings to compare alternative options and credit tiers.
