Sometimes you're looking for the newly added content, sometimes you need to see recently updated boards, and sometimes you just want to see your stuff ordered alphabetically. Air's sort functionality allows you to view your content in whatever order makes sense for you and your team.

You can sort your content in one of three views: Gallery, Table, or Kanban. Toggle sort order between ascending and descending using the arrow located next to your sort options. Each board has a default sort by date modified and each view has its own set of sort options available:

You can also create a custom sort by dragging and dropping items into the order you prefer. In the Table and Kanban views, you can also customize the order of fields between columns and assets within a column.

The default sort on a new board is Date modified. Date modified will be updated only if there is a new asset version uploaded or removed, or if the asset is renamed. Moving assets between boards and editing tags or custom fields will NOT change the modified date.

After adjusting sort settings, an option to save the sort view will appear. If you wish to set this sort to return to, it will reflect for everyone in the workspace. Assets in the All Assets & Files page are always sorted by date modified by default and that option cannot be saved.

To change the sort order for a view, click on the "Sort" button in the top right corner of the page. From there, you can select the sort options you want and even create a custom sort.

Yes, you can save your custom sort order by selecting "Save View" after creating it. This will save your sort order as the default view for all users.

Air updates the modified date only if there is a new asset version uploaded or removed, or if the asset is renamed. Moving assets between boards will NOT change the modified date.

Yes, Enterprise users can sort Library boards with the same functioning as in a workspace board.
