✏️ Anyone that has edit access to a workspace, library, or board

If you're eager to streamline your content organization and asset management, setting up a board is a great starting point. Boards serve as a versatile platform for collecting and organizing your assets with efficiency and ease. With the ability to create and host assets across multiple boards without duplicating them, Air elevates your organizational workflow. Let's dive into the process of creating boards.

Once you are logged into your Air workspace, you can start making boards with ease.

πŸͺ„ Added folders to your workspace instead of individual files?

Air automatically adopts your folder structure and makes boards that are named the same as their corresponding folders. Keep your old structure handy to reference or wipe them all out to make new boards. You call the shots!

From all assets & files

  1. Select the '+ Add' button in the top right

  2. Select 'Create new board'

  3. In the Create a board modal, give your board a name

  4. Select 'Save'

From anywhere in your Air workspace

  1. Select the 'Create new board' button in the bottom left of your browser

  2. Select 'Create new board'

  3. In the Create a board modal, give your board a name

  4. Select 'Save'

From the workspace sidebar

  1. Select the '+' icon next to the header named Boards

  2. In the Create a board modal, give your board a name

  3. Select 'Save'

From a selection of content

  1. Right-click or select the edit menu icon (three dots) on any item from the selection.

  2. Select 'Add to board'

  3. In the Add to... modal, select the '+' icon next to the header named Workspace Boards

  4. Type a name for your new board

  5. Hit enter or return on your keyboard to save the new board name

βž• Repeat steps 3-5 to create additional boards where the content selected should appear.

  6. Once you've selected the new locations for your selected content, select 'Add to # board'

Boards are just the beginning of all the amazing ways you'll start to leverage Air's metadata. If you and your team are new to Air, boards can be a nice stepping stone to going from organizing with boards to unlocking the magic of creative asset management on Air. Create a top level board for each department, each project, or each client that you work with.
