Adding a board from existing workspace

From one to another, seamlessly.

Written by Lauren Ford

🏷️ Tags, custom field data, and comments will not follow the assets from one workspace to another. The assets copied into a workspace do not connect or sync with the assets in the previous workspace, and are merely duplicate assets.

Note on AI enrichment: When you copy a board or assets with Save to Workspace, existing AI enrichment, such as Smart summaries/tags or video transcripts/summaries, copies with the assets and is not regenerated. Assets without AI enrichment are enriched after the copy is complete for any AI features enabled in the destination workspace. Copied enrichment is a transferred snapshot; it does not remain connected to or sync with the source assets.

Workspaces and their libraries are designed as separate rooms for storing assets, but transferring assets between workspaces doesn't have to be difficult. Try adding an existing board and its assets to another Air workspace - no re-uploading needed!

  1. Navigate to the board you wish to copy.

  2. Select Share or Shared in the board header to open the Share board link modal.

  3. Set Allow downloading to All assets. To include asset versions in the transfer, select All versions under Asset version control.

  4. Select Preview beside the URL in the modal footer to open the public share link.

  5. Select 'Save to Air workspace' from the "Save to..." drop-down menu.

  6. From the 'Select workspace' modal, use the drop down to pick which workspace you'd like to copy the board

  7. Select 'Save.'
