πŸ—ΊοΈ Anyone that visits an active share link for a static image with download permissions enabled

Custom exports let you adjust the aspect ratio and size of an asset to download. You also have the option to export the file in different formats. This article provides a step-by-step for accessing the export as modal, sizing, editing aspect ratio, attaching a suffix to the exported file name, customizing the exported file format.

Finding custom export modal

Taking these steps will bring you to the Export as modal

  1. Open any static image asset preview

  2. Select the 'Download' button in the top right of your browser

  3. Select 'Export image' or 'Export as' (public URL)

Downloading custom images in 'Export as'

  1. Use the 'Export as' modal to modify the following:

    1. Image size

      1. Size is contains a preset for 1x (Original) and 0.5 aspect ratio.

      2. You can also select 'Custom' from this dropdown to manually adjust the width and height

      3. Click the πŸ”’ to open it πŸ”“ and refine width and height pixels to your exact specs

    2. Suffix - This plain text field will modify the file name upon download, applying the text within to the asset title

    3. Format

      1. Adjust the file format to your desired extension based on your needs

      2. Select the dropdown to see the format options available

      3. Choose from JPG, PNG, GIF or WEBP

  2. After making the desired adjustments, select 'Export'
