Who can run custom exports?

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Supported on any Air plan

✏️ Anyone who has viewing access to the static images within a workspace, library, or board can run a custom export

🗺️ Anyone that visits an active share link for a static image with download permissions enabled

Custom exports let you adjust the aspect ratio and size of an asset to download. You also have the option to export the file in different formats. Whether you are a designer working with different resolutions or formats, a social media manager formatting for an Instagram post, or a freelancer who wants to give their client a variety of options, custom exports give you total control over your asset deliverability.

Export as...

Size

Air has 2 presets for export size, original (1) and half (.5). You can also select to further customize this setting, with and without respect to the aspect ratio.

Use the width and height adjustment to fit the asset to its final location. Whether it's on your website, social account, or newsletter, you can make sure the image is precisely the shape and size you need.

Suffix

Use the suffix field to help differentiate your asset exports. Any text in the suffix field is added after the file name on export. For example, adding “Instagram” into the suffix field for a file named “cutecat.png” will create the file name “cutecatInstagram.png.”

Format

Your custom exports can be downloaded in 4 different formats. Choose from the following:

  • JPG - most common file used in the photography industry and great for highly detailed photographic images.

  • PNG - versatile file types that are ideal for digital art like logos and graphic designs.

  • WEBP - great for web developers who want efficient compression for images that live on the web.

  • GIF - we now offer exports for animations!
