Who can generate CDN links?
π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ Supported on Pro, Business and Enterprise Air plans
βοΈ Anyone who has viewing access to the static images within a workspace, library, or board
ποΈ Quick Tip!
β
CDN links generate a proxy image that is compressed and can be transformed for delivery. Use a standard CDN link when a compressed or resized delivery asset is acceptable.
For website publishing workflows that depend on the original file behavior, use the original file instead of a standard CDN link. This is especially important when you need a PNG to preserve transparency as uploaded.

Original file CDNs are available in beta for eligible users. In the asset menu, this option appears as Create CDN Link (Original). This workflow respects transparent image settings and lets you choose a link that points to the current version of the asset or to a specific version.
CDN Links (Content Distribution Networks) allow for the quick transfer of assets needed for loading Internet content for static images. Quickly generate links to your Air assets by customizing height, width, format, and size for any use case. Many users generate CDN links for their websites, Shopify pages, and more. Standard CDN links are best for transformed web delivery. You can generate CDN links for images from the asset modal's ellipses button, just to the left of the download options:
Customers who use Airβs public API can also generate CDN delivery links programmatically for developer-managed delivery workflows.
Choose Generate CDN Link when you want transformed or compressed delivery for the web. Choose Create CDN link (original) or Generate CDN Link (Original) when the destination needs original file behavior, including transparent PNG support.
Size
Air has 2 presets for export size, original (1) and half (.5). You can also select to further customize this setting, with and without respect to the aspect ratio.
Use the width and height adjustment to fit the asset to its final location. Whether it's on your website, social account, or newsletter, you can make sure the image is precisely the shape and size you need.
Format
Your CDN links can be downloaded in 3 different formats. Choose from the following:
JPG - most common file used in the photography industry and great for highly detailed photographic images.
PNG - versatile file types that are ideal for digital art like logos and graphic designs.
WEBP - great for web developers who want efficient compression for images that live on the web.
Customize your CDN options and your link is ready to distribute that asset across the web.
