Creating a canvas can be done from any board in your workspace. Once generated, your canvas is saved and available within the board for you to return to at any point. In this article, we'll walk through how to create a canvas, rename it, and begin adding your creative assets.

Create a canvas

  1. Navigate to a board view and click on the Create button located in the top right corner of the screen to open the creation menu.

  2. From the dropdown menu, select Create new canvas. This will generate a new canvas that will be saved and available within the board.

  3. Once the canvas is generated, the board view will shift to allow you to see the canvas alongside your existing files. Click on the default Untitled Canvas title at the top to rename the canvas to whatever you prefer.

  4. Begin creating and adding content to your canvas. You can either click the Agent button in the bottom right corner to use the AI assistant, or select items from your board and drag and drop them directly into the canvas area.

Now that you've created a canvas, you can continue to organize and collaborate on your visual content. Explore our guide on adding content to learn more ways to bring assets into your workspace.
