The workspace sidebar on Air gives you quick access to the main areas of your workspace. The main navigation rail provides access to Libraries or Boards, Canvases, Notifications, Context, Skills, and Showcases. Performance is also available when enabled for your workspace.

The secondary sidebar contains search tools, Favorites, and your library or board hierarchy.

Search includes a dropdown for fast filters and saved searches, so you can jump straight to common views without opening a separate sidebar section.

Workspaces without libraries show Boards in the main rail.

Hovering over the left navigation rail expands the main sidebar. The pushpin icon button at the bottom keeps it open for continuous visibility.

The sidebar doesn't have to be visible for your entire session. Use the menu icon toward the top right of any workspace or board view to collapse/expand the sidebar. The CMD//CTRL + \ keyboard shortcut also can be used here!

The workspace name at the top left opens a menu with quick access to:

Search tools are at the top of the secondary sidebar within Libraries or Boards. This area includes the search bar, fast filters, and saved searches.

Use Search to browse and filter content across your workspace without navigating through nested boards. You can search for assets and files, or jump to a board by searching its title.

The Show search filters / Hide search filters button expands or collapses workspace filters and saved searches. These include Recently added, My uploads, Recently modified, Unused items, Untagged items, and Saved searches.

This view shows assets and files added to the workspace within the past 30 days.

This view shows assets and files you uploaded to the workspace.

This view shows assets and files that were modified in the workspace within the past month.

This view shows assets and files that are not currently assigned to a board.

This view shows assets and files that do not have tags applied.

Saved searches are available from the Search dropdown. Use them to reopen search criteria your team uses often without rebuilding the same filters each time.

Notifications in the main rail shows activity and alerts relevant to you in your workspace, with a badge indicating unread notifications.

Use Canvases to open shared visual working spaces connected to your workspace.

Use Context to access workspace information and connected context views available in your account.

Skills opens your workspace’s configured AI skills.

Performance provides creative performance analytics when enabled for your workspace.

Use Showcases to access and manage ad-hoc share links containing selected items from across your workspace. From this tab, you can review Showcases you created, adjust permissions, or revoke access without changing your workspace’s board structure. Board share links and single-asset share links remain separate from Showcases.

Recently Deleted in the lower navigation rail provides access to removed workspace content, including libraries, boards, assets, and custom fields.

New at Air opens Air’s changelog and product updates.

Help and Support provides help articles, tutorials, and support resources. Its menu includes Help Center, Chat with Support, Meet with Sales, New at Air, Open in mobile app, and Leave feedback.

Uploads is a button in the lower navigation rail that opens the upload panel.

The panel supports uploading files directly to your workspace and monitoring upload progress in real time for the current session.

Anyone who can upload in the workspace, including workspace and board users with upload access, can see this button.

Favorites is a collapsible section beneath search in the secondary sidebar. Favorited assets shows assets and files you have starred in the workspace. Your favorited boards appear alongside it for quick access.

Selecting Libraries (when enabled) from the rail opens your workspace hierarchy in the secondary sidebar. Workspaces without libraries use Boards instead. The views within are manually built by your workspace admins and editors.

The Libraries/Boards section can be expanded or collapsed as a whole. Arrow toggles next to individual libraries reveal or hide their nested folders and boards.

The '+' icons next to the 'Boards' header or visible when hovering over any board title allows users to create new boards for the workspace.

Each board in view on the workspace sidebar also contains an edit menu (three dots) when you hover over its name with your cursor. This gives easy access to:
