✏️ Anyone that has view access to the workspace, library, board, or public URL

Air allows you to automatically add your content with metadata attached. This will appear on the asset and can easily be viewed, searched, and filtered on Air. There are metadata fields that you can create, view, and modify solely through Air. In this article, these metadata types are referred to as 'Air Exclusive Metadata'.

When you import or export content to Air, the following metadata will be included, if available:

  • Title / File name

  • Resolution

  • File type

  • Size

  • Date created

From any full asset or file preview, the open info tab (β„Ή) will reveal the imported metadata unique to the asset or file.

From Board View Or All

Sort By

Pick and choose what metadata matters when viewing your content on the board level. Sort by is Date modified by default as Air prioritizes showing you the latest happenings in your workspace first. When Date modified doesn't suit your workflow, pick from the following in ascending or descending order:

  • Name (A-Z)

  • Size (Numeric)

  • Date created

  • Date modified

  • Resolution

Settings βš™οΈ

Reveal more metadata in your gallery view making it easier to know what content you're seeing without having to open the asset preview. Asset details will show right on the file thumbnail. Toggle it on to see:

  • Title / File name

  • File type

  • Size

  • Resolution

Your custom field entries can show in the same view. Toggle on custom fields to reveal your chosen custom fields on your content thumbnails.

Custom Metadata Imports

Content can live in a variety of places especially for dispersed teams. Maintaining your metadata during a migration is critical to a seamless transition to Air from other DAMs and storage solutions. Air offers custom migrations that keep your metadata in place. We have run these migrations from Dropbox, Google Drive, Bynder, Brandfolder, Photoshelter, and many more services. Your enterprise success manager helps guide you through the process and your content's metadata shows on Air seamlessly.

Visit Air's enterprise page to learn more or schedule a demo, start a chat with us using the chat bubble below, or email the team at help@air.inc.
