Users with workspace roles have access across your workspace, while users without a workspace role are board-only users who can access only the specific boards they’ve been invited to.
Workspace users have a workspace-level role, such as Admin, Editor, or Commenter, depending on the roles included in your plan. Enterprise workspaces can also include a Workspace Owner role. On non-Enterprise plans, Admin is the highest relevant workspace access level.
Board-only users have board-level access, such as Editor, Commenter, or Viewer, for each board they’re invited to. Available board roles, invite options, and billing expectations depend on your workspace’s plan terms. Air’s standard paid plans include unlimited workspace and board users without a separate per-user charge, while legacy, custom, or Enterprise contracts may have different limits or billing terms.
