Who can create tags?

Tags can be created in your Air workspace so that you can apply them to content and surface tagged content easily through searches and filters. In this article, we'll discuss how to create tags within your Air workspace.

From the asset or file view:

  1. Select the Tags tab on the righthand side of the asset or file view

  2. Input the name of the tag you want to create

  3. When prompted, select '+ Create 'YOUR NEW TAG'?

From the board view for a single file or asset:

  1. Select the content you wish to tag

  2. To reveal the 'Edit tags' function, follow any of the below:

    1. Select the edit menu (three dots) from the black menu bar

    2. Right-click the selected content

    3. Select the edit menu (three dots) from the file or asset thumbnail

  3. Select 'Edit tags'

  4. Input the name of the tag you want to create

  5. When prompted, select '+ Create 'YOUR NEW TAG'?

  6. Select Save in the 'Edit tags' modal

From the board view for a multiple selected files or assets:

  1. After your content is selected, follow any of the below to reveal the 'Edit tags' option:

    1. Select the edit menu (three dots) from the black menu bar

    2. Right-click the selected content

    3. Select the edit menu (three dots) from the file or asset thumbnail

  2. Select 'Edit tags'

  3. Input the name of the tag you want to create

  4. When prompted, select '+ Create 'YOUR NEW TAG'?

  5. Select Save in the 'Edit tags' modal

From tag manager

  1. Select the blue '+ New' button

  2. Input the name of the tag you want to create

  3. Select Save in the 'Create a tag' modal
