If your boards or files suddenly disappeared or your account looks like it “reverted” to a brand-new state, don’t worry. Your content is rarely lost. In most cases, it’s just stored in a different workspace or hidden by a permission or view issue.
🔑 Check if you’re in the right workspace
It’s common to have multiple workspaces tied to your email, especially if you were invited to more than one or accidentally created a new one when logging in.
To switch workspaces:
In the upper-left corner of the Air app, click your workspace name or logo.
A list of all workspaces connected to your account will appear.
Select another workspace and see if your boards reappear.
The workspace with your original content often won’t include “Welcome to Air” or default onboarding boards.
If you don’t see the correct workspace listed, make sure you’re signed in with the right email address (for example, name@company.com vs. name@gmail.com).
🗑️ Check Recently Deleted
If you confirmed you’re in the correct workspace, visit Recently Deleted.
Items deleted within the past 30 days can be restored.
🔎 Search your workspace
Even if a board was deleted, the files might still exist elsewhere in your workspace.
Use Search to look for file names, keywords, or creators.
You can also check Unused Items for content that isn’t assigned to a board.
⛔️ Confirm your permissions
If teammates can see the content but you can’t, your access level might have changed.
Ask a teammate to:
Visit Workspace Settings → Users.
Make sure your role is correctly assigned for the workspace.
Still missing? If your boards or files are still not visible:
Double-check you’re logged in under the correct email.
Try logging in from another browser or device.
Collect a screenshot or short screen recording of what you see.
Then reach out to our team directly using the Messenger icon below or by email to help@air.inc with your workspace name, the email used to sign in, and the date when you last saw content as expected on Air. We’ll investigate and work on recovery options right away.
